Great looking bin we purchased for garbage but it is not air tight ants get in & the top is not sealed at allLove it!!!!I love the storage capacity and the neutral color now that it is assembled. Getting it put together was a struggle.I use it for my patio cushions and it works great. Only wish it had better hardware to keep it closed.Following the directions to the "T", it is a mutha to assemble. Forget the "click click", you'll need to hammer the hell out of it to get the fittings to click. The way the hinges work on the back to attach the lid... ridiculous! (thanks for the workout though Belleze) Someone will have to hold the lid in place while another person screws them into place, if you follow their steps. I attached the hinges to the box and then wrestled the lid onto them. Lots of improvement needed here for design and ease of assembly. Great box though, very roomy and looks very nice. We'll see how it holds up.Large enough to store a blower, extension cord, broom, furniture covers, cushions… and still have room to spare… The lid opens and closes nicely. Delighted.A spectacular example of utter design failure. Assembly far more difficult than it needs to be. Gave up in complete disgust trying to assemble without multiple people assisting to support the lid while attaching the hinges. Would gladly throw back in the box and return it to the sadistic bastard who “engineered” this torture device, but once the sides are snapped on (which also was far harder than it should be!) they are impossible to remove. So I’m stuck with this lovely reminder of the rage-inducing frustration this blasted thing afforded me.
