This hole punch is true to its 24 mm size and of good quality. Used this to cut a hole in my ostomy barriers for my stoma. (I have an ileostomy) Meaning that my small intestine protrudes through my abdomen for disposal of my waste into a pouch.Many hole punches are larger than the numbers given, not this one.Good qualityUsed to make labels on top of prescription bottles.Requires Mayhew Pro 50530 handle and 50539 mandrill. Tried cutting thru a cell phone wallet cover. Just pleather and cardboard. Wouldn't even cut thru the pleather! Just made an indent... I wacked that thing hard and multiple times and nothing! Waste of money. Returned it.I received the size I picked and ordered. Some purchasers claimed to have received a size they did not want. There is a drop down menu to choose the correct size. While an error could be made at the shipping point, there is just as much of a possibility that people did not choose the correct size.I really wanted to love this product, but I just can't. Packaging was great, price was a bit high, but the product itself won't cut. There is no mention in the description about needing to sharpen before use but apparently that is exactly what is needed. I have tried several times to punch out some shapes and it just won't do it. For cutting through leather I should be able to use a rawhide mallet or even a plastic mallet, but I've tried a 2 pound brass hammer and still nothing. I may change my review after getting this thing sharpened.Perfect for my needs.
