I'm an older fellow who has been making, building, and repairing since I was 12 so tools have been central to my life. My father and grandfather were the same. I use tools that belonged to both of them. It really sucks when you're in the middle of something and the tool you're using fails. Simple answer buy top notch tools. I grew up practically worshipping Klein, Armstrong, SK, Proto, etc. Unfortunately the brands I have always trusted are either gone or too expensive. After checking the ratings, reading the reviews, and comparing Capri products to the other non US made tools I think Capri tools are the best available. It's obvious that performance and durability are important to Capri. So first choice for tools on a budget NOS US made (still out there if you know where to look but the supply is dwindling) second choice Capri.I had a weird angle to remove the engine from the rear motor mount. I didn’t want to remove the axle. My six point wrenches and sockets weren’t working. This made for the perfect angle and the handle was long enough to apply the needed force to loosen the bolt.tool is a quality product, did the jobI had a very difficult to reach, 20-year-old, rounded off bolt on a leaky oil cooler. Every attempt at getting it off only made the problem worse. Got this wrench as a last-ditch effort before I towed the bus to a mechanic, and it worked like a charm. Fantastic engineering, great tool.Used these for hard to reach bolts on rusted, fused exhaust components. Worked great and a lot stronger than I thought they'd be!Don't normally write reviews but this wrench is amazing....One way is an extractor the other way is a regular wrench but they work so good that I couldn't even tell What way was the extractor. Every other Wrench I have Just spun on this bolt and there was no room for socket Extractor, definitely buying a set of them. I deal with over tight and stripped bolts from people who think every bolt needs to be torque to 80 ft lbf and I can see them being a time saver.I was doing what I thought would be a simple transmission fluid drain and pan removal on my 2003 Camry, but encountered a bolt on the transmission pan that would not come loose. After many tries, it was getting damaged and rounded. It was in a location where a component of the car was over top of it, so there was not enough clearance to fit in a bit to remove it. I tried everything: chiseling it loose, spraying it with a lot of freeze off penetrant, spraying with WD-40, using a 6 point wrench from Amazon, using pliers, etc. If I could have fit a regular rounded bolt extraction bit, it would have been easy to remove the bolt. But, this bolt had such little room to fit any tools. After hours and hours of trying to get it loose, I was very close to giving up. This tool finally arrived which was going to be my final attempt before taking it to an auto shop - IT WORKED!! Finally, I was able to dislodge the bolt. It was really rounded off and damaged once this tool arrived, but it worked great. The bolt had rusted to my transmission pan which is why it was so stuck on there and hard to get out. This tool saved me so much additional hassle, frustration and expense!!! Well worth the cost and definitely a great tool to have on hand if you do work on older cars and deal with rusted bolts.Only used it once so can't give 5 stars for durability.Had to get this to remove a stubborn bolt in Scion rear engine mount. I have quality US made 12 point box wrench and it was rounding the head on the bolt. This gripped and removed the bolt as advertised.
