This kit sharpens the gaffs very well. I have used the kit three times in the past year and its quick and easy to use. After sharpening the gaffs they are like new all over again. I keep a set in each of my tree climbing bag and will never go to a job site without them. If you maintain your equipment properly it will keep you safe and secure to a tree.
