Notched and ready to use, this extremely versatile hardwood bench pin has a keyhole V-slot, a ring holding arm with sawing slot, cutting indents, adjustable clamp position, recessed area, and a 45 degree angle. A bench pin will steady your hands and tools as you work. The angled face is cut at 45 degrees, it tilts away from the front top, leaving a handy slanted surface. When using the ring holding arm, your saw will follow the slot as you cut ring shanks helping to keep rings from sliding on the bench pin while working. The different cutting indents allow you easy access to your piece, so you can do intricate work in small spaces. The recessed oval area in the center of the pin is made to hold findings, stones, or trimmings as you work. Slip the L-bracket through any of the three notches at the back of the bench pin and into the recessed area; then slide the bracket onto your work surface and tighten the clamp. The three different angles you can achieve by changing which notch you use is a true game changer! The clamp accommodates a bench or work surface up to 2 3/8" thick. Bench pin measures approximately 8.5 x 2.5 x 0.5 (21.5 x 6.5 x 1.25 cm).
