I do IT, Security System and and Security Camera Installation, Access Control, and Network Cabling and this allows me to carry the diverse set of tools that I need for all of these in a single bag. Holds my Headlamp, Safety Vest, Drywall Knife, Saw for Electrical Tubing, Electrical Tape, RJ45 and BNC Crimper, Cable Strippers, a few Screwdrivers, Tape Measure, RJ45 and BNC Jacks/Connectors, and similar. Love how far/wide they unzip so you can have access to the deepest portions of the bag, the bottom of the bag being able to sit flat and also be waterproof is phenomenal as well, you don't have to worry about it tipping over and things getting horribly scattered around nor wet in new construction areas. Outside of this I will typically have another bag with bigger tools such as Impact Driver, Hammer Drill, Ratchet and Socket set, and my tried and true iFixit kit that has security bits and similar atypical bits that I need regularly. My friend, who was a lineman for a power company, showed me this pack because he was so impressed with it. My husband and I immediately went online and purchased one for my company use. I’m a full time dj, so you can already see the versatility of this product. I have 2 laptops, cables, hard drives, headphones, and other miscellaneous items needed for my gigs, all in one place! The stand alone bottom is a game changer for loading and unloading gear. It has all the organizational pockets you could ever need with room for business cards, notepads and pens! So durable. Love this backpack. Get it!After a few decades of using regular laptop backpacks as a tool bag/laptop bag I decided there must be a backpack designed for tools and laptops. And here it is! After a month or so of use I really like it. The orange interior makes finding things so easy. The tool pockets work well for the basic tools I carry with me that work for most small jobs. The laptop space is a bit tight with a few notepads sharing the space, but it works fine for my tablet laptop. If you have a normal size laptop you will want to get the model with the bigger space. One thing that is irritating though is the narrow hard plastic bottom. While I like the fact that it's hard plastic so can be put on wet ground and can cleaned/disinfected easily, it is too narrow. On uneven or soft places (chairs, beds etc) it has a tendency to fall forward. I wish they would have made it wider or maybe given it a tri shape with the point to the front to keep it from falling forward. I always put the bag in my back seat after finishing a job and a more-then-light braking will make the bag fall forward. This only happened to my old backpacks if I had to slam on the brakes.Besides that one detail the bag seems really well made. It's heavy duty and looks like it will last many years. I am glad I purchased this.I use this to store my handtools, testers, and laptop for daily work usage. My only complaint is that it might have TOO much storage space because I tend to put too much stuff in the bag making it heavy...obviously it's a back pack so if you're lugging around tons of tools it can strain your back. but if you have like a "tool kit-lite" that you carry around with you every where with just your basic essentials it's awesome. if you have a boat load of heavy tools then might not want to go the backpack route for the sake of your back.Work in the Fire Alarm industry. Holds all my tools and lap top. Highly recommend spending the extra money on the largest width for the laptop. Doesn't give you much room to store notes/manuals next to your computer. Otherwise it's the best purchase I've made for a tool bag.I've had this backpack for a few weeks now and I can only think of one complaint but it's minor. The laptop part is big enough to accommodate my work laptop, the charger, and a plethora of cables I use often for work. The compartment in front of that is large enough for all of my various tools and the rest of the compartments work splendidly for all of other various smaller items that I need to have with me at a moment's notice. My only complaint is that the straps feel rather stiff when wearing both at the same time but I assume those will loosen up with time. I've even managed to put both my work laptop and my personal laptop in this bag at the same time. It was a little tight but they did fit. While I agree that it's a rather pricey backpack, with the amount of space inside and the fact that it's ruggedized , I think this is perfect for someone who is constantly on the go and works in an industrial type of environment. If issues arise in the future, I'll come back and add on to this review.Everything about this backpack is sturdy and made to last a long time. Nothing is dinky or fragile, everything from the materials, the stitching, the compartments to the zipper and zipper handles are made with great quality. I'm a field service engineer so I don't need as many tools as an electrician but I still need some tools such as a fluke, wire strippers, leads, screwdrivers etc. I also need a laptop compartment, so I did a lot of research and I'm very pleased with this because it's made for this job. My 15.5" laptop fits just fine along with some drawings/paperwork and the charger/cables fit into the zipper compartment above the laptop no problem. The tool compartments are well separated from the laptop with plenty of padding so the laptop is totally protected. My fluke fits perfectly, and I have a spot for my leads and other things. It has a couple of extra zipper compartments that I use for my little screwdrivers and what not. The front compartment doesn't just open all the way and spill out all over the ground either, it opens to about a 45 angle (see pics) which is really nice. The backpack sits up straight naturally and the bottom is thick rubber material so I don't have to worry about liquid or dirt getting into my stuff. Good strong safety glasses compartment that I'm actually using for other stuff just for now. It holds a water bottle or whatever on both sides with a mesh thing that also have little zipper compartments for storage. It's built like a tank, I can tell that I'll have this backpack for at least 10 years, I'm very satisfied. I'll definitely buy more Klein products from now on because it's worth the money.I’ve had this rucksack for about a year now, and I still use it regularly for work. It’s extremely durable and the chunky padding on the back and shoulder straps make for a comfortable carry even when full. Still very happy with my purchase. Excellent quality product.A lot smaller than expected for such a big bagI inspect and investigate construction sites and buildings. I put all my investigation tools on it and go. Because I often get calls for water infiltration, I like that I can go out in the rain and put the bag down without the contents getting all wet. The bag is very sturdy and has multiple pockets for all your hand tools.I love it, I'm using it more as a laptop bag than a tool bag but I still keep some measuring tool in it. I can carry my large 17 inch laptop with all my peripherals and it's comfortable on my back. I even insert my surface pro 3 with the laptop in the laptop compartment. I love the fact that the bag stays up when I put it on the floor and since the base is made of rubber I'm not afraid to put in down when I'm in the field to measure equipment. At almost $300 it's a heavy price tag but the bag fits a lot of things it's really robust and the hard plastic bottom keeps it from falling over
