Have only had this since Spring of 2020 and the wood completely rotted out. The kids left it outside a few times, but thought it would hold up much better. Trashed it today. Bought one that is completely metal today. Hoping for a better turn out.For the money, this is a fun toy. It is a little tricky to put together, and the directions are not super helpful. You will need tools to assemble it (like a wrench and screwdriver). We bought one for our little nephew's birthday, and he loves it! He picks up leaves in the yard and Carrie's them in his wheelbarrow.I think it was made in Mexico, and it was a little scratched up when I opened it from the box, almost like it was used. But if it's going to be outside, that shouldn't be a huge deal since it will get scratched up anyways. Just wipe it down and assemble (don't assemble bolts too hard, or the metal will give a little and it won't be as strong). It's great for the money! It's not plastic, but painted metal (not high quality metal, but good enough for a toy).The head of this rake is nice, sturdy plastic that is great for our 2.5 year old. I'm not sure why the handle has to be so disproportionately long though! The handle is really an appropriate length for someone about 5 feet tall and it's just a tiny bit shorter than our real, adult rake. So this is not the perfect rake for a small child, maybe for an 8-10 year old. But we also couldn't find anything in local stores and options on Amazon weren't plentiful either, so this will get the job done for now.Had some scratches in the bed right out of the box but figured the boys would make more anyways. Was disappointed with how wobbly the wheel attached and figured it wasn't going to last long once the boys started playing with it. To my surprise it has held up very well with rough play, hauling bricks and sand, and the kids giving each other rides in it. It's a little small for my 5 year old but he is tall for his age. Overall a great purchase and my kids love it.Overall it is made very good. There are a few things that could use improvment. I read some other reviews of other brands. I believe this wheelbarrel is made better then some of the other brands. I like that it is metal which will hold up better then poly.My biggest problem was the packing when shipped. The parts were not packaged well and were laying in the wheelbarrel tub. As a result the paint in the tub was scratched. I did not appreciate this since it was a Christmas preasent for my grandson.I bought these to replace the increasingly rusty and frankly scary metal children's rake my kids were playing with. I'm very happy that this new rake has a plastic head instead of a metal one. The handle is very long: much too long for my 3 and 6 year olds, as far as I am concerned, but they are happy. And they have not yet clobbered each other with their kung-fu like games....Its a little smaller than I was expecting but just the right size for my 4 yr. old and he loves it. The wheelbarrow is nice but the front wheel is VERY wobbly. My husband put a spacer in and it's better but not the best. I actually bought another one because our 2 yr old also loves it!!Was damaged on arrival from the wheels and brackets not being wrapped up. It was a gift for a party so I had to try and fix it with some orange paint and a bow.Muy buena y resistente, los niños felicesEsta excelente
