SUNEX TOOLS 4692 3/4-Inch Drive Metric Impact Socket Set - 26-Piece Professional Grade Chrome Vanadium Steel Sockets for Heavy Duty Automotive & Industrial Use

The only sockets I have purchased and used for the last 40 years have been Snap-On which are killer high quality and double killer expensive. Since this is a 3/4 drive set for "for the shop" rather than personal, I looked at the Snap-On set which was 4X as expensive, pinched my nose and placed an order. When I opened the box, I was shocked. the plastic case is really well made, and has a second set of side latches [someone as Sunex actually thinks]. When I picked up the sockets I was stunned. They aren't as pretty as Snappy's but they are VERY well made, not highly polished...remember they are impact sockets. The tolerances are very good, and the machining is excellent. I took a couple of photos comparing a 46mm from this set with a 46mm 1/2 drive Snap On socket [see below] and and the wall thicknesses are similar. I will stick with Snap On for my chrome hand sockets, but Sunex really does make good tools, and we will clearly buy more from them.
