This umbrella fit perfect! Had old, worn out, ripping, canopy from original freestanding. This was great and a snap to replace. Even made me wonder if brand mattered maybe just diameter? Seemed universal or just that easy on mine. There are no poles. You don't need it. It comes as a zipper at the top (to fit around the end piece) and a velcro lip over to hide the zipper. My original umbrella had the same for changing the canopies. I literally unzipped it, slid it off, slid the new one back on, zip it, and used the flap to cover the zipper. The I put the arms in the pockets and I was done. I put it back in the stand to put in all of the arms so I didn't cross them, but not sure what easier: table or in the stand. Anyway, it was that easy. I even ordered 2 more so that i would have them when these go bad. A genius idea from someone to be able to replace these that easy. That almost never happens! Original stand was 300ish bucks and replacement canopy is 99/each and about 15 min labor. You do the math. Finally, no screws, and headaches to make you throw away something that can be so easy! Thank you to manufacturer for easy on and off replacement!
